Emil Schildt, born in Denmark in 1958, is a portrait and nudes photographer. He uses many different techniques to achieve his final results. Amongst his techniques are bromoil, cyanotype and photopolymergravure. Emil also damages his images by scratching or using sand paper. This, he suggests, adds an extra dimension to his poetic and symbolic imagery.
